In 2012 an iPhone sneaked in my pocket and with it, the possibility of photographing just like that, without further ado. And so did sneak the iShots in among my works.
The iShots are a sort of visual haikus. Immediate, ephemeral and everyday images that got caught in the light, in the forms, in the color. They seek the beauty and the poetic of the in-between, unfinished states. Have fun with the contradictory, with the unnoticed hidden in plain sight. They sympathize with the idiosyncrasies of the other. They rely on words as a title that insinuate or circumscribe them. Sometimes they make sense in the context of the moment or in the context of a language, sometimes they make sense only for some and more often they might make no sense at all.
